What now follows is a more complete report of my holiday in Queensland, and anticipating a certain premiere, the theme word for this weekend's post is adventure.

Filled with life.
Look Ma, no wetsuit!

The last two weeks have been the absolute best ever. We had a two-week break off from school, and I used the opportunity to see out what the state of Queensland has to offer. What you see here was the pinnacle of the whole trip - scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef.

Read more Image It's been absolutely amazing to have been able to do so much travelling recently. During the past two months, there have been only a few weekends that I haven't gone out somewhere, and when I don't, the reason usually is that I've had to take some time for studying. This was one of those weekends, and while waiting for the two-week term break, I thought I'd present some photo bits that I've gathered from places before. Yes that's right, a filler post.

I'm so sick of Australia! There's nothing to see and the closest to a real kangaroo you'll ever get you can see above.

Around the time these photos get published, I should be out on a six-day walkabout in Blue Mountains. I'll come back to that later, but now while I'm there I thought let you see something that Hunter Valley is known for, its vineyards.

It's been a few weeks of uni now and assignments are starting to pile up. It's not difficult, but takes some time. A few courses I took on turned out to be quite similar to courses I've already taken, so I'm now considering on dropping one or two, but I don't yet know which. To keep up the interest in studying, I enrolled to honours level courses on Topological Groups, Advanced Machine Learning and Integer Programming, the goal being to get at least something useful out of uni.

We're finally getting around to the kangaroo and koala photos I promised earlier. Last Saturday I visited the Australian Reptile Park on a tour organized by the university. I didn't expect much for the tour since for the past two weeks, it has rained almost every day. Luckily, Saturday was an exception and we had a great day in sunshine.
