Triangle::RandomPointOnEdge

Syntax

float4 Triangle::RandomPointOnEdge(LCG &rng) const; [15 lines of code]

Generates a random point on the edge of this Triangle.

The points are distributed uniformly. This function requires that this triangle is not degenerate. If it is, an assume() error will be printed, and the return value will be undefined.

Parameters

LCG &rngA pre-seeded random number generator object that is to be used by this function to generate random values.
